Hello everyone! I am delighted to introduce myself as Juliane Hennenfent, and I am thrilled to be embarking on an exciting new journey as the Grade 4 teacher at River Valley School this year. Having primarily taught Kindergarten to Grade 2 in the past, I am eagerly embracing the challenge and joy that Grade 4 brings. My teaching adventure has spanned diverse settings, including a two-year tenure in the vibrant city of London, England. Alongside my passion for education, I've fostered a deep appreciation for global cultures and places through my extensive travels around the world. While I have traversed the globe, Alberta has always been my home, and I currently reside in Red Deer with my dog, Poppy. When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me immersed in a good book, exploring new destinations, gliding down snow-covered slopes, indulging in movies and TV shows, savoring outdoor camping experiences, relishing in the waters of swimming pools, and cherishing moments spent with family. As I stand on the threshold of this new academic year, I am genuinely excited and eagerly looking forward to the meaningful experiences and growth that lie ahead. Cheers!
