Mr. West, a passionate educator, is thrilled to embark on an exciting journey with his Grade 3 class at River Valley School and for the opportunity to inspire and guide his wonderful students in a vibrant learning environment.
Residing in Olds, Mr. West shares his home with his wife, Jaynee West, who is also a dedicated teacher at River Valley, and their two children, aged four and one. He loves spending time with his family and going down to Calgary on family trips to the zoo, Heritage Park or just walking or biking along the river pathways.
Outside of school, Mr. West enjoys a host of activities in the great outdoors. He is an active hiker, mountain climber, backpacker and mountain biker. When winter comes, you can find him backcountry skiing and ice climbing.
