Hello, my name is Darla Korver. I'm the Family School Wellness Worker for River Valley School. I've worked for Chinook's Edge School Division for ten years. When I'm not at school, you'll find me hiking, biking, or skiing in the mountains with my family. I also love to paint, so many of my scenic mountain pictures end up on a canvas. My love for creativity comes with me to my office, and I love using art with students to explore challenging situations.
The Family School Wellness Program is a free and confidential program that provides support services to all students at River Valley School. FSW recognizes that a student's academic achievement and well-being are often affected by difficulties related to peers, family, and self. The FSW program aims to support students through these challenges to achieve an overall sense of well-being in their lives.
